Dear Friends,
We did it! Thank you, THANK YOU, thank you for your ongoing support of my re-election to City Council for a full four-year term. After three elections in just a year and half, our community expressed overwhelming support for my candidacy on November 3, 2009. Against all odds we won by nearly a 20% margin, making this a historical win for our community.
You were apart of vast grassroots campaign with hundreds of volunteers. Everyday we went door to door, made phone calls, and stood outside train stops, encouraging our neighborhoods to vote. In total, we knocked on over 10,000 doors and reached out to over 40,000 people to talk about our work this year and our vision for the future.
